Vanitas of Miami Funeral Complex
The Vintas of Miami takes its inspiration from the Baroque still life painting movement by the same name contrasting the abundancy of life, with symbols of death or decay to serve as a reminder to the viewer that life is fleeting. This theoretical funeral complex design applies these principles in its design by contrasting ornate classical architectural vernacular for buildings within the campus that serve the living loved ones, with a stripped back simple vernacular for those buildings at the service of those who have passed.
